About
born in Buffalo, raised in albany, Todd meredith has become America’s favorite buddy holly tribute artist.
After graduating magnum cum laude from Siena College with BA’s in Psychology and Creative Arts, Todd moved to New York City to pursue acting. His New York regional theater credits include: Noises Off, It Runs In The Family, Annie, and Urinetown. Todd’s big break came in 2007 when he was cast as the title character in BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY. Since then, he has played Buddy Holly in 19 productions of the musical, including two national tours, and found his niche performing in other “actor/musician” musicals like MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, RING OF FIRE, & PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES.
In 2011, Todd began to set his focus on music, forming the Buddy Holly tribute band, The Rave-Ons. The Rave-Ons perform regularly at NYC venues like BB King Blues Club and The Iridium and consistently tour the U.S. theater circuit. They can also be seen often on Oceania, Regent, and Celebrity cruise ships performing their Buddy Holly, 50’s rockabilly, and classic rock tribute shows.
Todd enjoys writing music and working on original projects. His most recent release, ONE TRACK MIND, is a five original song EP with an eclectic mix of styles and influences. Todd’s most recent Buddy Holly Tribute album, ROCK, RHYTHM, and BLUES, has sold over 6,000 copies and includes 15 of Todd’s favorite Buddy Holly tunes. He is featured playing guitar and singing on JT Curtis’s albums, ONE LAST STAND and ELEMENTS.
When Todd isn’t acting in shows or touring with his band, The Rave-Ons, he can be found on Long Beach Island playing his favorite acoustic guitar covers and original songs at numerous south Jersey establishments.
